We enjoy heading out on the water, so this was a great break from walking the city. Beautiful view of the Canadian Museum for Human Rights and Esplanade Riel from the water. Located nearby to the zoo, Assiniboine Park is the best place to spend an hour or more.

Among our favorite spots to check out was the English Garden, where everything was completely manicured, and the Leo Mol Sculpture Garden.
